Welcome to the WELS Staff Ministry web site! This website offers information
about WELS Staff Ministry and resources for WELS Staff Ministers.
Staff Ministry is a form of ministry in the WELS. Churches typically
extend calls to Staff Ministers to fill a special need within their
church. They often fill needs in one or more of the following areas:
Member Care, Administration, Parish Education, Youth Ministry,
Evangelism, and Music Ministry.

2010 WELS Conference of Staff Ministers
A little over 50 people attended the 2010 conference, held at St. Andrew in Middleton, WI on April 23-24, 2010. The meeting minutes are posted in the Conference Information area and two of the Bible studies are posted in the Adult Bible Studies area of the Resources section of this website. The 2011 conference will be held in New Ulm, MN April 29-30, 2011.
